A recording of an improvised Game Boy collaboration between Bit Shifter and visiting Viennese Game Boy musician Meike Randow, taking place at OpenAir as part of the evening's events following the NYC-vs.-Vienna Game Boy match.
Captured with some technical acrobatics, this mp3 actually documents the sound as heard and recorded in Rhiz Bar, Vienna, being streamed to that location from OpenAir. Consequently there are some gaps and hiccups in the audio stream. Due to technical problems at OpenAir the piece was not recorded locally, but many thanks to Rhiz Bar for having captured what was an extremely fun collaboration.
Bit Shifter and Meike Randow were both using classic Game Boys running Nanoloop software, synchronized via a Game Link cable. Meike Randow is a member and participant of the excellent Gameboy Music Club in Vienna.
