8 Bit Documentary Screening @ MoMA 2006 10 11

Museum of Modern Art
[NEW YORK NY US] — For the last few years, Marcin Ramocki and Justin Strawhand have been documenting developments in artistic appropriation of video game concepts, hardware, and technology. The result is the documentary 8 Bit, which after premiering to a sold-out crowd last Saturday at the MoMA, enjoys a second and final MoMA screening this Wednesday night. Bit Shifter makes an appearance, spouting his standard-issue pseudointellectual claptrap, along with Bubblyfish, Glomag, Johan Kotlinski, Nullsleep, Cory Arcangel, Tom Moody, Huoratron, and many others.

For more information and film trailer, see the 8 Bit documentary website. For screening information, see the MoMA's calendar listing for the premiere.
