International Chiptune Resistance 2006 World Tour
The International Chiptune Resistance 2006 World Tour may be over but the planet is still reeling with aftershocks. Bit Shifter and Nullsleep's successful circumnavigation of the globe saw them waving fists in London, getting aggressively propositioned by prostitutes in Barcelona, sipping Chimay in Brussels, puzzling over hentai PC games in Tokyo, sipping Chimay in Kobe, doing a guerilla street-side performance in Fukuoka, bumping into Handheld/Yuppster in San Francisco and learning that he was staying at the same hostel we were, and most importantly, meeting and sharing stages with some of the coolest chiptune musicians and show organizers in the world. There truly is no adequate way to express our gratitude for everyone who helped, who gave us a place to crash, who organized shows, who donated money to the tour, who helped us navigate train systems, who helped us interpret restaurant menus in languages we didn't speak, who e-mailed letters of support or encouragement. Thank you, thank you, thank you. The experience was overwhelmingly cool, stand by for near-infinite photographic evidence.
